Welcome!

This is the project page for the Smithers Parks and Recreation Master Plan that is being developed by the Town of Smithers, with input from you and other community members and support from RC Strategies and WCS Engagement + Planning.

The Resident Survey is now open for input - please check your mail

The Resident Survey is gathering feedback on specific parks and recreation facilities, programming, and activities in Smithers, and to understand future recreation priorities and opportunities. The input will help to inform how the Town should provide and invest in recreation moving forward. Check your mail for a postcard with a unique household access code to complete the coded survey.

Already have your postcard with the survey access code? Click here to take the CODED SURVEY.

Didn’t get a survey postcard? Other household members want to respond too? Click here to complete the OPEN SURVEY.

Prefer to complete a paper copy of the survey? Please visit the front desk at the Library, Town Hall, or the Bulkley Valley Regional Pool.
